Do I need to bring ID?
Yes, in order to confirm proof of vaccination EFM will ask to see you BC Vaccine Card and a piece of valid government ID. Youth are not required to show valid Government photo Id.

I got my first shot, is that enough?
By October 24th, you must be fully vaccinated to meet the requirements under the Events and Gatherings Public Health Order.

The name on my vaccine passport doesn't match my government ID. What do I do?
In response to people's dead names displaying on their vaccine passports the BC gov made back-end changes to ensure names on vaccine passports and BC services cards match.  They recommend re-downloading to reflect these changes. This step should solve problems for most people. If not,

  1. Make sure Health Insurance BC has your new name by calling 1-800-663-7100. Try again to download.

  2. If this doesn’t work, call 1-833-838-2323 for help.
